His academic foundation includes a Master’s in Biochemistry, Total quality management diploma from Stockholm, an MBA, an Executive master in health administration from Canada, and a Research degree in Economics and National Economy Management.
Mr. Chamas is an active contributor to key ISO committees (TC 176, CASCO) and a certified auditor, he is also an accomplished educator, having trained over 400 quality engineers, and a published author whose work has garnered over 10,000 readers.
His experience in the UAE includes a 4-year role as the head of quality in a healthcare group, where he demonstrated operational mastery by successfully achieving and maintaining the industry’s most prestigious accreditations: Joint Commission International (JCI), CARF, Accreditation Canada, and ISO 15189, and ensuring compliance with DHA, DOH, and Tasneef regulations.
His international experience is reflected in his pivotal role in developing over 500 international standards and in his seven-year appointment as a Sustainable Development National Project Manager for the MENA Region with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
