Amanda Fakih is Vice Chairman and Chief People Officer of Blue Ocean Health, with responsibilities spanning people strategy, governance, and strategic leadership across the Group’s healthcare businesses.
She brings deep experience in healthcare administration, human capital, organizational development, and business building. Prior to Blue Ocean Health, she served as Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UCLA, where she managed a $200 million operating budget.
Amanda also co-founded Viafet Genomics Laboratory, the first private genetics laboratory in Dubai and the first in the Middle East to achieve CAP accreditation for Next Generation Sequencing technology, serving as General Manager until 2018.
